FAQ
Questions we get asked
Most projects fall in a $200 to $2,000+ range depending on scope. The exact investment is agreed in writing after a short scope conversation. We do not mass-take projects and we will tell you in the first call if we are not the right fit for what you need.
Yes. AI is how we move fast enough to keep our pricing and timelines realistic. Senior engineers make the architecture decisions, review the work, and test the result. Final delivery commitments are made in the project agreement, not on this site.
No. You receive the source code and documentation we produce for your project. Any developer you hire later should be able to take over with the materials we provide.
During active work, you get a status update from us at least once every 48 hours during business days. A short note, a working demo, a recorded walkthrough, or a direct message. You always know what is done, what is in progress, and what is next.
Sometimes. If the foundation is too weak to extend, we will tell you directly and propose rebuilding the core, rather than charging you to patch something that will keep breaking. We quote that work separately after assessing what is there.
That is normal. Come to us with a rough idea and we will help shape it into flows, screens, and a realistic first milestone.
No. You have access to your code, your data, and your domain. If you want to move hosting or bring in another developer, the documentation lists the third-party services your project depends on so the move is straightforward.
Senior engineers review the work before it ships. We look for the kinds of errors automated tools commonly miss: security gaps, logic dead ends, and edge cases. When the AI-assisted output takes a wrong turn, our engineers steer it back.
Most projects ship in four to eight weeks depending on scope. A focused website can be ready in as little as two weeks. We give you a realistic timeline after the first conversation, in writing.
Yes. Most of our clients are not technical. We handle the technical decisions, explain things in plain language, and keep you updated without jargon. You focus on your business. We handle the code.
You have full access to everything we built and to the documentation. We can support what we build on a paid basis, agreed separately.
Tell us. We will diagnose and propose a fix. Your project agreement includes a warranty period (typically 30 days after launch) during which we fix issues caused by our code at no extra charge. After the warranty period, or for issues caused by third-party services, your modifications, or your hosting, we can fix them on a paid basis. The full terms are in the project agreement.
We reply to every inquiry within one business day during business hours, usually sooner. A real person reads your message and replies.
You take it. Full source, documentation, and a list of the third-party services your project depends on. The code is built on standard tools that an experienced developer can read and maintain.
Security is considered alongside every feature, not added at the end. Every project goes through a security review of common vulnerabilities before it ships. We follow established practices for authentication, data protection, and access control. The specific controls for your project are documented in the project agreement.
All three. We build websites, Progressive Web Apps, and internal admin tools. They share the same data and logic, so you are not maintaining separate systems.
We are small and efficient. We do not layer in a project manager or account handler between you and the engineers. Our AI handles the repetitive work, and our engineers focus on the decisions that matter. Pricing depends on scope and is agreed in writing.
That is normal. Business needs evolve, and the software should evolve with them. We are available for updates, new features, and adjustments on agreed terms.
We fix issues caused by our code during the warranty period in your project agreement (typically 30 days after launch) at no extra charge. Beyond that, we are available for paid maintenance and updates. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes; we guarantee the quality of the work we deliver as documented in the agreement.
Email, chat, calls, or video, whichever you prefer. You talk directly to the engineers. We send regular updates (at least once every 48 hours during business days) and reply to inquiries within one business day.
No. We are a small team by choice and we choose the work we take. If we are not the right fit for what you need, we will tell you in the first call rather than after the second invoice. Quality matters more to us than volume.
No. Quantum Threads is a private company. We do not publish customer code, customer names, or project showcases publicly. Your business stays your business. We will tell you in writing if a future project ever requires public code (for example, an open-source component) before we agree to it.
